Belgian Demography Day 2015

On Tuesday, 24 March 2015, the Association for Demography (VVD) will organize its first Demography Day. This day addresses recent developments in demography and gives (both experienced and young) researchers the opportunity to present their work to colleagues and interested scholars. The day consists of Dutch and English spoken parallel sessions and ends with a keynote lecture by Professor Emily Grundy (London School of Economics). Most of Emily Grundy's research has been focused on ageing. Her main interests in this field are families, households and social support in later life, especially in relationship to health.

Call for abstracts

Until 30 November 2014, researchers can submit an abstract (maximum 300 words in English or Dutch) to vvd@demografie.be.
