The plenary session started with a keynote speech by Melinda Mills (Nuffield College, Department of Sociology, University of Oxford). Her speech was titled \u201cNew approaches to integrating genetics and demography\u201d. During the Dutch Demography Day, demographers and researchers from a range of disciplines presented their research in three rounds with parallel sessions and one poster session.
