The Seed Grant is specifically intended for young researchers who want to stimulate their own research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Procedure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Write a proposal with your idea (max. 1 A4, including budget)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications up to a maximum budget of \u20ac1,500 can be submitted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indienen t\/m 5 december 2025 via <a href=\"mailto:info@nvdemografie.nl\">info@nvdemografie.nl<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A jury will evaluate the applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Het bedrag moet in 2026 besteed worden<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De Grant wordt uitgereikt tijdens de Demografiedag op 4 februari 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whenever there are too few (good quality) applications, the jury may decide not to award the Grant that year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NVD Seed Grant (English)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Netherlands Demographic Society offers a \u201cSeed Grant\u201d to young researchers (Master and PhD students), working at the intersection of demography and society, to provide extra financial means that will help them in their research project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NVD makes budget available annually for circumscribed research activities, such as additional data collection, coding or transcription of qualitative interviews, or visiting a conference or workshop to present a paper.
