On 10 December 2014 the Netherlands Demographic Society (NVD) hosted the 7th Dutch Demography Day in the Academy Building of Utrecht (Domplein). The plenary session started with a keynote speech by Melinda Mills (Nuffield College, Department of Sociology, University of Oxford). Her speech was titled “New approaches to integrating genetics and demography”. During the Dutch Demography Day, demographers and researchers from a range of disciplines presented their research in three rounds with parallel sessions and one poster session.
