Demographers and researchers from a range of disciplines presented their research in parallel sessions spread over four afternoons. The 2020 Master Thesis Award was won by Lara Bister (University of Groningen) with her study titled “Maternity leave durations and the relevance of selection: A demographic approach to maternal health outcomes after maternity leave for first-time mothers in Germany”. This year, there was no poster award given the digital format of the conference. The video competition was won by the Bataafs Lyceum from Hengelo.
